“Our families’ collective net worth are in excess of USD 5 billion and their wealth is spread across three continents. Generational wealth from first-generation entrepreneurs is a powerful force, but its global, multi-continental spread demands bespoke, privacy-first wealth management that is as agile and ambitious as its creators.”
Milan S. Morjaria is the Founder of MSM Investment Advisors SA, with over 38 years of experience in global financial markets. The firm specializes in managing the wealth, transitions, and legacies of affluent global families and their charitable foundations.
From 1988 to 2010, Milan built a distinguished 22-year career at Citigroup. He progressed through diverse roles, from currency trader and private banker to his final position as a Managing Director in Geneva, where he focused on Ultra High Net Worth clients and family offices. Abbey Road Investment Group was established to provide a service that I myself wanted from the financial system – truly independent and world class investment advice – that would help me make good allocation decisions across all asset classes. We have no revenue or AUM budgets; we are more interested in building sustainable long-term relationships with our families. And we aim to deliver value through a relentless focus on Investment advice. We currently help 20 families based across the GCC, giving us scale and a meaningful presence in the region.
Arjun Mittal is the Founder and CIO at Abbey Road Investment Group, which he founded in 2021 after a successful 20 year plus career in banking, working with American Express Bank, Bank Sarasin and more recently as Deputy CEO for Bank J Safra Sarasin in Dubai.
Arjun has worked in London and Dubai across several key roles in banking including research, sales and management, and so brings a well-rounded perspective on financial markets, and the development of the wealth management industry.
Abbey Road Investment Group has a Multi Family Office (MFO) which it runs from Dubai that caters to clients from the region. The MFO’s core function is portfolio construction and risk management, helping its families implement best-in-class investment strategies across global markets. In addition, Arjun and his team also enjoy generating their own research and investment ideas. The MFO is platform agnostic – the team works with all banks and product providers.
Abbey Road Investment Group also has a thriving private market investing arm. The majority of investments are sourced directly by Arjun and members of the Advisory Board. After extensive due diligence is conducted and an investment receives a green light, then Abbey Road Investment Group always commits to being the first investor using its proprietary capital, similar to traditional merchant banks. Arjun believes showing ‘skin in the game’ is a critical component of aligning interests with clients.
“Families face ever-increasing complexities: businesses and investments expand into new countries, sons and daughters take up lives abroad, assets grow beyond any imaginable needs to name a few. With its customized Family Office services, families can get control over their worldwide assets, better plan for transferring wealth to the next generation and leverage our philanthropic expertise.”
